You can sort your search results after doing a Basic, Advanced, or Power search. Sorts let you organize your search results. You can choose from any pre-defined sorts (such as title, author, publication date, format, or call number) to display your results.

Note: Information Portal does not sort search results for Z39.50 broadcast searches. |
To sort your search results
Search for a library item.
Information Portal displays your search results.
Choose the sorting criteria that you want from the Sort by drop-down list.
Click Go.
Information Portal returns a list of search results based on the sort you chose.
